Memory Upgrade on VPS Control Panel, Saturday 11/20/2004 5:30-6:30 PM EST (GMT -5:00)

We will perform a memory upgrade on the VPS control panel (HSPcomplete management node) in the next 2-3 hours, at around 5:30-6:30 PM EST (GMT -05:00). We apologize for not being able to schedule this maintenance work ahead of time, but this needs to be done as soon as possible due to the recent discovery that a back-end process on the hardware node may crash, causing some abnormality to some back-end processes. The memory upgrade is also necessary for the upcoming HSPcomplete 2.1 to 3.0 upgrade.

Only the VPS control panel will be affected. All other hardware nodes and all VPSes will still be up and running.

HSPcomplete management node has been upgraded to 2 GB of memory. This maintenance has been completed as scheduled with no unexpected complication. In the next few days we will schedule a HSPc 2.1 to 3.0 upgrade.
