This email notification has been sent out to all customers on VPS4 node that will be affected.
Dear Valued Customers,
This notification is to inform you of a coming scheduled maintenance on Sunday, 12/04/2004 at around 7:00-8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (GMT -05:00) on our VPS4 hardware node. You are being contacted because your VPS resides on this node and you will be affected.
During this scheduled maintenance window, we will upgrade the memory on the host server from 3 GB to 6 GB. Because of this, the hardware node (and all VPSes) will be shut down. It will only take us roughly 5 minuts to upgrade the memory. However, once the hardware node is restarted, it may take several minutes for each VPS to be restarted again. Thus we expect a total downtime of at most 30-45 minutes. Most VPSes may experience a much shorter downtime.
We expect no complication from the scheduled maintenance above. We have announced this maintenance on our community forums at http://forums.fluidhosting.com/showthread.php?p=8523 and whenever needed, we will keep track of this mainteannce on this forum. Please visit the forums for the most up to date progress on this maintenance window. Should you have any questions/concerns about this scheduled maintenance, please do not hesitate to contact us at support[at]fluidhosting.com. Please do not reply to this email directly since your reply may not be attended to.
Sincerely,
Administrator
