The following maintennace work has been scheduled. All shared hosting customers have been notified with the email notification below:

Dear Value Customers,

Recently the memory usage on the Control Panel server has increased, causing an increase in disk swapping activity. This in turns, cause the Control Panel server to act sluggish from time to time and also cause some instability on the control panel services.

To remedy this situation, we will schedule a maitnenance window today at 9 AM Eastern Time (GMT -05:00), during which the memory on the control panel server will be upgraded from 1 GB to 2 GB. The control panel service will be unavailable for no more than 20 minutes at the maximum. No other services will be impacted during this maintenance window and no other complication is expected.

Should you have any further questions/concerns regarding this maintenance work, please do not hesitate to contact us at support[at]fluidhosting.com.

Sincerely,
Administrators

Memory has been added to CP server and the server has been rebooted. However, for some reasons, CP service won't start and we are now investigating this issue.

We seem to have some problem with the memory modules installed. We are currently trying to solve this by using different memory modules. CP service will be ittermittent.

Update:

Dear Valued Customers,

The memory upgrade scheduled for this morning has been postponed due to memory compatibility problems. Shortly after the upgrade the control panel server began to become unstable, and has subsequently been reduced back to it's original 1GB of RAM.

Sincerely,
Administrators
