Apache has problem running with SSL support. So until we fix this issue, we are running Apache on Web2 without SSL support.

We have been able to locate that the problem is with one user apache conf file. Although nothing looks very different that other conf file, this one particular conf file crashes Apache. We have exclude this particular conf file and apache is up and running now. We are requesting the developer's help to investigate this problem and apache may be stopped and restarted again.

My apology for the late update. PSOFT was not able to solve the problem. So they restarted apache by excluding this one particular domain configuration. They may have to log ing again later and try to fix this problem and thus apache may have to be stopped again later.
Please accept our sincerest apology for this problem and all inconveniences this must have caused everybody affected.

Subject: [Fluid Hosting Notitication] Web service problem on WEB2
Note: Please do not reply to this email directly as your reply may not be attended to.
Dear Valued Customers,
You are being contacted because you are affected by the web service problem recently discovered on WEB2, the web server your account resides on.
On Friday, 06/10/2005 at around 10:37 PM, our external monitoring system detected web service on WEB2 to be down. Immediately we jumped in trying to fix the problem. However, the web server (apache) was crashing at random time. After a while, we finally discovered that there seemed to be a problem with one particular domain configuration file. Although this domain configuration file looks the same as others, we immediately exclude this domain configuration file from being loaded by the web server and was then able to start web service again. Web service was back again at around 12:54 AM on 06/11/2005.
We reported this problem to the control panel developer (PSOFT). PSOFT had attempted to fix this problem at around 6:56 AM by shutting down the web service. Unfortunately, they too could not find the root of the problem and had to start the web service back again on 7:23 AM by excluding the configuration file for this one particular domain as we did previously.
PSOFT will be looking into this problem again later and thus, they may have to stop the web service again. We will work closely with PSOFT to resolve this problem. We have opened a thread on our community forums to log any progress on this problem. Please visit http://forums.fluidhosting.com/showthread.php?t=2293 for the latest updates/progress on this issue.
Please accept our sincerest apology for this problem and all inconveniences this problem must have caused you. Should you have any further questions/concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at support[at]fluidhosting.com.
Sincerely,
