PS: Please do not reply to this email directly as your reply will not be attended to. Instead, please direct your questions/concerns to support@fluidhosting.com.
Dear Valued Customer,
This email is to notify you of the upcoming scheduled maintenance window which will be performed on Feb. 4th, at 1:00AM ET. During this window, we'll be upgrading the FreeBSD Kernel on our FreeBSD powered web servers. This kernel upgrade is meant to address a recently discovered vulnerability in it.
This operation will effect both web site and FTP availability. All other services will remain in operation during the process. Based on previous history of upgrading the kernel, we expect downtime to be well under 10 minutes. (The process merely involves a server reboot for the new kernel to be loaded.)
