Hi,

I'm considering your VPS offer.

However, I'm not very technical. In case I rent a VPS, if the web or the database server crashes, how can I restart it?

Is there an automated process to restart servers when they crash?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and for your interest in our VPS service.

You can restart services from your VPS Control Panel. You can also restart your whole VPS as well. And of course, you can always contact us and we can restart any services from you.

You can also write a script and run the script through cron job, say, every 5 minutes. The script can be used to check for services availability (e.g. HTTP, etc) and restart services as necessary.

Thank you once again for your interest in our service. We are looking forward to be working with you.

Thanks for the reply.

Looks like the cron job service check/restart script would suit our needs just fine.

Can I install a dedicated SSL certificate on the VPS?
Do you offer SSL certificates?

Just remember you'll need a static IP for each Cert. Wildcard certs will work on one IP for one *.domain.com
