First of all - we already have 3 sites in FH and so far we like it.
We are planning to migrate to Windows VPS as one of the client will have much more bandwidth and symulteneous user requirements. Right now we serve around 4K-5K requests per day and expect around 10K+ in future. So my questions are:
1. IS VPS the solution?
2. Its a .Net 2.0 / SQL Server based application. VPS packages doesn't say anything about SQL Server. How that works? What's typical usage pattern?
3. What about backup and such - is it already managed or we have to take care of that?
Thanks
Rahul

Hi Rahul,

1) VPS certainly sounds like a reasonable solution for your needs.

2) Our VPS plans don't include MS SQL Server. You are welcome to install your own copy, including the free MS SQL Server Express. Or, you could keep a small shared hosting account for MS SQL databases.

3) We perform routine backups of the VPS nodes, just like we do for all of our servers. We do however encourage customers to maintain their own backups as well.
