IMAP, in addition to POP3, is now supported on our new mail server. For those who have been waiting for it, please give it a try and let us know if you experience any difficulties/problems with IMAP.

Great! I've been waiting on this!

Are you planning on offering any other webmail clients now that you're supporting IMAP? Squirrelmail, etc?

We will leave the webmails the way it is now since majority of our customers are used to the current webmails setup. But we do have squirrelmail installed on our mail server. You can access it through http://mail.fluidhosting.com/squirrelmail/ (or https://mail.fluidhosting.com/squirrelmail/).

But the two urls you posted both give me 404 errors...

I know that SqWebmail does not support IMAP. However, I thought that IMP/Horde did. If so, will you be configuring it to do so now that you have IMAP support on your mail server?

Two more things :

1) Are you using port 143 for your IMAP access?

2) Should I be able to access mail.mydomain.tld via IMAP from my shared hosting server - alpha.fluidhosting.com?

To answer your questions..

1) Yes we are running on port 143.

2) I believe that is firewalled off. I'd have to check.

IMAP over SSL (port 993) should be supported now.
