We are scheduling a maintenance work on MUON(win1.fluidhosting.com) tomorrow, Sunday 01/18/2004 on/around 7:00 PM EST (GMT -05:00). The maintenance window is estimated to be around 5-10 minutes. During this time, customer's websites will not be operating or partially operating.
If your web sites are hosted on MUON (win1.fluidhosting.com) and/or if you have MSSQL database, then your site will be affected. No other customers will be affected. You will know that you are hosted on win1.fluidhosting.com if your IP lies within 66.150.196.66 - 66.150.196.101 range.
During the maintenance window, we will take out the hard drive and put it in a brand new server.
Currently MUON is on a Dell Poweredge 1650 with P3T/1.13 GHz and 2GB of ECC memory. After the maintenance, MUON will be on a brand new Dell Poweredge server with 2.8GHz XEON (with HyperThreading) with 1-1.5 GB of ECC memory. We hope this server swap will solve the instability problem experienced lately.
This will be the first server swap. Within the next 2-4 weeks, we will be performing upgrades on the rest of our servers.
