The plans have multiple pop3 mailboxes. My question is how many email accounts can I create?

I'd like to sign up for hosting just for email. I mean, I won't be using this to host files at all. It will be used for only email purposes and I need atleast 80 email ids.

Pls advise.
Thanks

MrYogi,

We do not limit the number of emails you can get with all of our plans. Thus, as long as you are under your allocated disk space quota, you can create as many email accounts as you need.

Let us know if you have any further questions/concerns. Looking forward to working with you.

So if I went for an economy account where I can host 8 domains, all these 8 domains will have their own email alias (abc@domain1.com, abc@domain2.com etc), as long as it stays within the 600MB?

Thanks

Mat

Hi Mat,

Yes, that will be correct.

Well, except that the Economy account has a limit of 400MB, not 600MB.

Also, I had thought that e-mail storage wasn't counted towards your quota - as long as you didn't exceed the default 25MB limit. Did this change or am I not remembering correctly?

Brian,

Thank you for catching my error on total disk space quota. Yes, Economy plan comes with 400 MB, not 600 MB.

Under our new Unix plans, disk space used by all of your mailboxes, web, and mysql are counted towards your total disk space usage. No longer will there be a separate quota for mail, database, and web. Instead, you are free to create a database of 100 MB, 200 MB size, etc. As long as your total disk space quota is not exceeded, there will be no additional fees incurred.
