Any plans to offer dedicated hosting plans in the future? I might need to upgrade to full dedicated and I don't want to buy my own server for co-location. Maybe you would make a special arrangement with me? If you did offer plans, what would an estimated cost be for a P4 2Ghz+ w/512 RAM and 40 GB bandwidth? (I don't need a real quote, just ball park)

Thanks!

We do offer dedicated servers. However, prices depend on several factors.

If you would like a figure, please e-mail our sales department at, sales[at]fluidhosting.com

James,

Here is what I usually quote our customers.

Brand new Dell rackmount server PowerEdge 1750 (yes, we are doing all Dell from now on).
- Xeon 2.4 GHz/533 MHz FSB
- 512 MB DDR ECC memory
- 36 GB of SCSI3 U320 10000 rpm drive
- 125 GB of monthly transfer, fully burstable to 100 Mbps
- /30 block of IP (1 useable IP) or if you can justify, /29 (5 useable IPs)
- Access to our APC remote reboot device (one port). You can reboot your server anywhere around the world through a web browser.
- Access to our MRTG bandwidth reporting
- one hour of server administration/month (FreeBSD or Red Hat Linux only).
- $375 setup, $375/month. Or pay just additional $100/month to get 100GB extra bandwidth.
